Reflecting on our year we have really helped our community by supplying blood, through the Community Blood Bank, for any needed transfusions, gave clothing to Red Racks to help others, and both donated food for young learners, as well as helped at Harvesters, our local food bank for the Kansas City area.

At our school, we recognized our counselor and teachers for their commitment to us, while we also provided academic websites and encouraged NCC students to finish the year strong.

While doing these community service and recognition projects we have learned a lot about being a leader, had fun helping our community, and saw the need for continued service. We also brought in two community leaders to educate us about honesty and integrity in the workplace and the leadership skills that have helped them get to where they are.

All in all, it has been a wonderful year of service and learning. Here’s to celebrating our commitment to others while improving leadership in ourselves!
